What the judges said: “This renovation was a seamless extension of an original villa from the 1900s. The home was transported from its original site and expanded, in keeping with the authentic detailing and structure,” they said. “Attention to detail was so meticulous that the builder managed to retain the wallpaper from more than 100 years ago.
